Coin Checker: questions, answered

Everything people ask before and after installing: legitimacy, pricing, cancelling, refunds, accuracy and privacy.

About the app

Is Coin Checker legit?

Coin Checker: Coin Identifier is published by Blueberry Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd., an app studio in Kolkata, India. It is listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play under that name, the subscription is billed and cancelled through the store, and this site explains what the app can and cannot do. It is not affiliated with the US Mint, PCGS or NGC.

Is Coin Checker free?

The download is free, and so is every value page on this website. Premium has a weekly plan with a 3-day free trial and a yearly plan with a 7-day free trial; the store shows the exact price in your currency before you subscribe.

How do I cancel Coin Checker?

Cancel in the store, not in the app. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Coin Checker → Cancel Subscription. Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Coin Checker → Cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends to avoid the first charge.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play refunds are requested from Google through the Play Store order history. We cannot issue store refunds ourselves, but write to us if something went wrong and we will help you with the request.

How accurate is Coin Checker?

Accuracy depends most on the photo: a sharp, well-lit shot of both sides gives the best result. Worn, damaged, ancient and counterfeit coins are harder, and the grade and value are estimates. Rather than quote an accuracy percentage, the compare pages will publish side-by-side tests on the same coins once they are run.

What happens to my photos?

Coin photos are used to identify the coin; the privacy policy says what is kept and for how long.

Is Coin Checker the same as AI Coin Checker or CoinSnap?

"AI Coin Checker" is this website's old title for the same app, Coin Checker: Coin Identifier. CoinSnap, Coin ID and CoinKnow are different apps from different companies.

Which phones does it support?

iPhone and iPad on iOS 15.6 or later, according to the App Store listing, and Android phones through Google Play. There is no Windows app.
